About Us

Civic Scope is the home for information about everything local in Nashville and Middle Tennessee -- from neighborhoods to businesses to entertainment to nature to just about anything you can think of.

Our motto is "Your City, Your Insite" and our website is a Wiki -- a digital encyclopedia that anyone can contribute to or change.

We want it to be as easy as possible to make those contributions or changes. You don't have to understand techno-jargon to take part.

We also want to share our success with the communities we serve. Although we are currently in the "getting-going" phase, when we hit our stride we plan to share a portion of what we make with local non-profit organizations.

Civic Scope is based in Nashville, TN., and was founded by Barry Owens, Jim Reynolds and David Green.
