We are a design and advertising group in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

While amaranth is of course a color as well as a flower, the word itself has another, more poetic connotation.  From the Greek amarantos, which means “unfading,” the amaranth of legend refers to an imaginary flower that never fades.  In choosing the name of her firm, Leigh Williams likened the concept of the unfading flower to the timelessness of artistic design.

A full-service graphic design agency, Amaranth Designs applies a true fine art perspective to help businesses build creative, effective visual identities.  We incorporate both a designer’s eye and an artist’s palette into clients’ graphic strategies.  From logo identity to print media to web design, Amaranth’s creativity gets noticed and gets results.

Leigh Williams, principal of Amaranth Designs LLC, has 25 years of experience working in graphic design.  Leigh has built solid expertise in all types of design projects, from creating corporate collateral packages to designing national product packaging to owning and operating her own graphic design firm.  Her creative projects have included such highlights as directing national photo shoots starring world-renowned sports figures Penny Hardaway, George Brett, and Terry Bradshaw.  Over the course of her varied career, Leigh has designed hundreds of brand visuals and messages in countless industries, serving national corporations, universities, and numerous not-for-profit organizations.

Leigh’s civic participation includes serving a variety of organizations with both her time and her talent.  A board member of CABLE, the largest women’s network in Tennessee, she currently serves as the organization’s Brand Advisor.  She also sits on the boards of Fifty Forward and Benton Hall Academy and is a community advisory board member for Vanderbilt University’s Women and Gender Studies Department.

Leigh holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Bowling Green State University.
