Antioch

Antioch is an area in Southeast Nashville-Davidson County that has been growing in the 1990s and 2000s. Interstate 24 runs through Antioch, which borders on fast-growing Rutherford County.
    Antioch is not incorporated and is part of Metro Nashville-Davidson County. It does have its own zip code: 37013.
    Among the major fixtures in Antioch is Hickory Hollow Mall on Bell Road. Hickory Hollow Mall was struggling in 2008 and one of is major tenants, Dillards department store, announced it was pulling out.

    Antioch High School is one of the other major institutions in the area. The school opened in a new building in 1997.
    The Antioch area has been growing in recent years owing to residential and commercial development.
