State Parks with Boat Ramps

Bledsoe Creek State Park

On Bledsoe Creek with access to Old Hickory Lake. The park offers 2 boat launch ramps. One is located inside the park for registered campers only. One is located just outside the park on Ziegler's Fort Road for the general public.

Edgar Evins State Park

On Center Hill Lake. The marina located at Edgar Evins State park is open year round. There are two boat launch ramps within the Park.  The park offers seasonal pontoon boat rides. A full service dock is available. Dock fees are determined by the size of the slip. Fishing boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, houseboats, deck boats, and bass boats may be rented at the marina.

Canoeing and Kayaking.

The Harpeth Scenic River Complex includes canoe accesses at the U.S. Hwy. 100 Bridge, the 1862 Newsom's Mill ruins, and at the Mc Crory Lane Bridge at Hidden Lake. Downstream, the Narrows of the Harpeth provides an upstream and downstream access.

Lake Acorn
The boat dock on Lake Acorn will be open for the summer season from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Canoes, paddle boats and jon boats are available for rent Monday thru Friday, 9am - 5pm and Sat. thru Sun., 7am - 5pm. After Labor Day weekend, privately owned boats are allowed on the lake provided the boat does not have an outboard motor attached. Trolling motors are allowed.

Lake Woodhaven Lake Woodhaven has a year round boat launch available to the public. Trolling motors are allowed as long as the boat does not have an outboard motor attached. There is no charge to use the boat launch.
