Coyotes In Nashville

Coyotes are found throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee including in residential neighborhoods. They typically hunt in groups of two or more at night and are known to kill cats, dogs and smaller pets.  

Fur color varies from grayish brown to yellowish gray with the throat and underside more of a white or off white.
