The major drug store chains in Nashville and Middle Tennessee offer saving cards to be used for discounts on purchases. These cards are typically offered for free and require only registration. The cards must be used at the time of purchase to receive discounts and are used to keep track of a shopper's buying habits.
Drug stores that offer these cards include Rite Aid and Walgreen's.
Rite Aid offers a card called Rx Savings Card. It can be used for general merchandise or generic drug purchases. The card is good for 10 percent off Rite Aid brand products and 20 percent off brand prescriptions.
