Film Nashville is established to assist these talented individuals in finding professional personnel, products, services, locations and other things needed for development of these creative works.

The non-profit’s mission is to facilitate creation and distribution of motion picture projects designed for theatrical, television, video and interactive release. These ventures are either to be shot in the Nashville region or created by Nashville-based filmmakers. The primary goal is to build the economic and creative infrastructure of the metropolitan motion picture environment.

Film Nashville provides information of importance to independent filmmakers including outlines for business plans and pertinent data for executives at studios a platform for a means for collaborators to network as well as a platform for collaboration and networking.

Already the organization is comprised of hundreds of professional producers, directors, actors, crew personnel, writers, post-production personnel, soundstage owners, distributors, and entertainment attorneys involved in the film, television, video and interactive entertainment industries from the local area.
