Green Hills Mall

    Green Hills Mall is one of the oldest indoor malls in Nashville-Davidson County and after a series of renovations has become one of the most upscale malls.
    Nordstrom, the luxury department store chain, announced in 2008 that it would open its first store in Nashville at Green Hills Mall in 2010. A three-story addition to the mall will be constructed to accommodate Nordstrom.

     The Nordstrom addition is part of a mall expansion plan launched in 2003 by Davis Street Land Co., owner of the Green Hills Mall.
    A new wing to the mall opened in 2005 and is home to The Cheesecake Factory, Tiffany's and Macy's.
    The mall, located along Hillsboro Road, the main thoroughfare through the Green Hills area, also has a Dillard's department store as an anchor tenant.
     Other malls in the Nashville area are Cool Springs Galleria, Rivergate Mall, Hickory Hollow Mall and Bellevue Mall.

Green Hills Mall has really added some nice stores the past couple of years. It is great to see it continually defy the normal life cycle of malls and get better with age.
