Hill Center

The Hill Center is an open-air shopping center located in the heart of Green Hills, on Hillsboro Raod.  Located close to the Green Hills mall, the Hill Center offers an alternative and upscale shopping experience.  At one end of the single street center is Whole Foods market, a grocery store specializing in fresh, all-natural, organic produce and foods, as well as a spectacular salad and hot bar.  Facing Whole Foods is West Elm, a more contemporary, modestly priced sister company of Pottery Barn.  Other stores include: Anthropologie, Le Cruset, Merrill, Posh, Jigsaw, Swoosie's, The Cosmetic Market, Hemline, J. Laughlin, and several others.  There four restaurants, in addition to Whole Foods:  Pei Wei, Provence, California Pizza Kitchen, and Zoe's Kitchen.

Parking at the Hill Center is ample, although prime spots along the street and in small, close parking lots are metered.  The garages next to Anthropologie and Whole Foods typically have plenty of available spots - the top levels are usually almost empty.  While Hill Center usually enjoys a steady stream of customers throughout the day and week, it rarely becomes overcrowed (with the exceptions of major holiday weekends, etc.)  It is a fabulous place to shop for women's clothing, jewelry, and accessories - men's stores are limited to Johston & Murphy and one other.  It is also a good place to shop for gifts, with Swoosie's, Anthropologie, West Elm, Le Cruset and other stores offering great items for the kitchen or home.
