Hilsboro Village is located in Midtown near Vanderbilt University, and includes the stretch of 21st Avenue between Magnolia and Blakemore, and the surrounding side streets.  Shopping, dining, and barhopping are the main attractions in this area, and the Village offers an impressive selection of each, considering its relatively small size. Hillsboro Village is located directly between Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities, and is less than a ten minute walk from each school. It is closest to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center portion of the VU campus.
