Sylvan Park is a neighborhood on the west side of Nashville that is generally south of I-40 and west of I-440, although like all Nashville neighborhoods, it has no official boundaries. A main thoroughfare is Murphy Road, which terminates on the west at McCabe Park. Many of the streets in the neighborhood are named after states, such as Wyoming and Idaho.

Many of the homes in the area are bungalow style, others are in the Cape Cod style.
