A impermeable membrane, approximately 10-12 stories high, that extends roughly from 21st Ave. South in Nashville to 31st Ave. South and from West End Ave. to Broadway, with a small easterly extension over Broadway, called the Pea Bubble.

The membrane does not conform with Metro Nashville building and zoning codes, but city officials have not, as of this writing, been able to have it removed. Although the membrane was created in labs at Vanderbilt University, the recipe was lost and scientists have not been able to replicate it, let alone pass through it.
